How is WAYNE Jr. operated?

You canoperate WAYNE Jr. with a handy gas cartridge (type EN417) - perfect for small balconies without having to have a large gas bottle lying around. If you want to grill longer, you canalso connect a large gas bottlewith the gas bottle adapter (optionally available).

How hot is WAYNE Jr.?

Under optimal conditions (sun, full gas cartridge, no wind) WAYNE Jr. reaches temperatures of up to 380 °C on the grate - this is also the maximum value that the analog thermometer indicates.

When operating with a gas cylinder adapter and a large gas cylinder, the maximum temperature is up to 350 °C.

Note: In cooler outside temperatures, empty cartridges or shady or windy locations, the cartridge pressure can decrease significantly - this affects the burner performance and leads to temperatures below 300 °C. Although operation with a larger gas cylinder ensures more constant performance, the flame level is slightly lower due to the upstream pressure reducer.

Basically, the following applies: Gas cartridges cool down during operation, which weakens the flame. This affects both the maximum temperature and the post-heating time after the lid is opened.

TIP: To keep the performance stable, it is recommended to warm up the cartridge before grilling, to place it in a sunny position during operation or to use larger or cold-optimized cartridges.

How big is the grill surface?

With 43 x 32 cm you have enough space to supply up to 4 hungry mouths with fine grilled food.

Can I leave WAYNE Jr. outside?

Yes, but it is best to protect it with the supplied cover - it is UV-resistant, water-repellent and weatherproof. This keeps your grill in top shape.

How do I clean WAYNE Jr.?

Easy! The cast iron grates can be easily brushed off or oiled, the grease drip tray is powder-coated and can be cleaned with water & detergent. The burner is removable - for a thorough cleaning, if necessary.

Can I also use WAYNE Jr. as a table grill?

Yes! Thanks to its compact design and practical carrying handles, you can also easily place it on a sturdy, heat-resistant table. Make it even easier withour practical trolley. On it you place your balcony grill securely and firmly and get even more work surface out with the side tables.

Can I operate WAYNE Jr. with gas cartridges all year round?

Yes, but note: gas cartridges are more cold-sensitive than large gas cylinders.

At low temperatures, the heating power can fluctuate. If you want to grill all year round, a gas bottle adapter can be a good solution.

What accessories are available for the WAYNE Jr.?
